Links to Napa Newspapers and Vital Records

The Napa County Library has digitized Napa Newspapers and they are available online through the following link:  www.napalibrary.org/databases. On the left side, scroll down and choose Newspapers & Magazines and then scroll down to Napa County Newspaper Archive, which includes papers from American Canyon, Napa, St. Helena, and Calistoga. Dates begin as early as the mid 1860s but vary with each newspaper. 

Informational copies of Napa County Vital Records are available to anyone but there is no hint of that until you click on the Application form at the Napa County Clerk-Recorder’s office. The same fee schedule applies as for the restricted Certified copies. Request directly from the Napa County Clerk-Recorder’s office through the following link:
