Amazon Smile Donations
Now you can donate to NVGS every time you shop on Amazon at no cost to you!
The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible purchases to your chosen charity. NVGS has been added as a charitable organization under the AmazonSmile program.
It is easy to set yourself up to donate to NVGS (for free!) with these easy steps.
1. Go to “smile.amazon.com”.
2. Sign in with your existing Amazon user id and password.
3. On your first visit you need to select a charitable organization. Under “pick your own charitable organization”,
type in “Napa Valley” and click on the search button.
4. Scroll down to find “Napa Valley Genealogical Society” and click on select .
Now you are set up to donate to NVGS (for free!). Remember, every time you shop you must login to smile.amazon.com and not amazon.com in order to earn donations for NVGS. All of the products available on amazon.com are also available on smile.amazon.com.
Recycle
We are collecting plastic bottles and aluminum cans to recycle as a fund raiser.
You can collect them in a plastic bag and bring them by the library.
Just throw the bag over the fence in the back if you come when the library is not open.
